The Stickers..
Starting October 11th, hundreds of stickers like the ones below were placed in specific public locations around the Seward Park neighborhood. By texting the unique 4-digit code on the sticker to the phone number (718) 968 - 5729, passers-by will immediately recieve text-messaged history about the place. Local history brought to your cell phone!
So far over 75 of you have participated in the tour, sending us close to 200 messages. But we want you to send us more! So far, the 5 most popular locations to send messages from have been: the Seward Park Playground, the old Essex Street Market, the Lower Manhattan Expressway sites, the Seward Park Extension Houses, and the Seward Park Library
